The Japanese fashion magazine La Farfa is trying to change the way the nation thinks about plus-sized Asian women by adopting the new term 'marshmellow girls' as a positive description for larger women. This term has caught on with Twitter and Instagram and even some Tumblr blogs popping up to celebrate the fashion forward plus sized women all over the world. Some people see t his as a step forward for a society that has long criticized women who are over weight or don't fit the stereo typical thin/petite image. |

Hopefully women everywhere can come to love the shape of their own body and gain self acceptance whatever their size and know they are truly beautiful just as they are. |
