強さ

Does this mean "strength"? I am wondering what the second symbol さ means, because supposedly the first symbol 強 means "strength". So, do both these symbols together mean strength, or just the first one by itself? Thanks.

The probleme comes from the fact that Chinese language uses the same word or character for different grammatical functions like English can use the word "love" for verb, noun or adjective. But Japanese language cannot do it and needs to add a suffix. So 強 can mean strong, strength or strenthen while 強さ strength. But don't be worried by such triviality if you want to use it on tattoo. Without the suffix さ, the word is perfectly understandable not only by Japanese but also Chinese while if you add it, Chinese cannot understand the character さ.
Kind regards,

Hello everyone. I stumbled across this site while on a search for Kanji symbols, and it's already helped me out a lot in my endeavor ... But, can someone be so kind as to give me the symbol and word for "nothing" or "void"? Much appreciated.

No, the kanji for love has a "heart" in the middle.

Love: 愛

Heart: 心
