Your Japanese Romaji transcription of the above sentence is:
Doyoubi no yuushoku ni ikitai to omou
It means "I am (we are) thinking to assist in the diner of Saturday night"

My translation follows more closely the original Japanese sentence because it is an affirmation and not an interrogation.
Kind regards

Yeah, I guess it's along the lines of "Would you like to go out to dinner with me on Saturday?"

But it litterally means "I think you want to go out to dinner with me on Saturday."

chuugokugo wa hanashimasen demo felize nueve ano!

Is this regular romaji?
I am not a true nihongo speaker and like sometimes to try translating what I see, but this has me stumped!
I need to;-
A) find a good romaji translator (pity not everyone uses same standard)
B) Give money, make time and attempt to truely learn this wonderful language

I would appreciate a little help in this you wonderful people, translation, good software to at least give me the basis of a romjii sentence

Thanks for your time

I don't know any romaji translators. You'll just have to learn to convert it into kanji and hiragana yourself. You can try Free Light Japanese, which has lessons on it.

Oh yeah, btw, your sentence means:

"Do you speak Japanese? I am studying Japanese, and I want to go to Japan. Where do you live?"

"I speak Chinese but--"

Then, for some crazy reason, it switches into Spanish, and I have weak understanding of spanish. It means:

"Happy New Year!"

So, you've got "I speak Chinese but Happy New Year!"........ *wierded out*

Once again, I thank you

Well, when you convert romaji to hiragana, online translators don't understand it well. Kanji dictionaries help.

You got the romaji right. To pronounce it, it should be broken down into: ten-i-no-ji-kan.

As for the translation, most people will say it is correct. but a phrase like this can mean slightly different depending on context in which it is used. You cannot necessarily equate "teninojikan" with "shifting time."

What do you mean by "cartoon"? Comic strips you read in print or animations? If you mean the latter, it is:

http://dict.regex.info/cgi-bin/j-e/dict is a great dictionary - does anyone know of something that will translate a romanji sentence to english and back, though? Worldlingo will translate kanjii and hiragana and katakana to english and back, but I want to be able to translate romanji and back.
Also, does anyone know of a good OCR package for JP? I'd like to stick in scans, get JP characters and then be able to paste them into a translator (worldlingo my current preference, again).

euh... not that anyone here really knows who the hell i am or where i came from but if anyone is REALLY REALLY bored thay can translate this huge poem that i wrote into "romanji" japanese... (my comp dosnt uderstand "engrish" hehheh) so here it is and have fun if you want to.. elaim me at Liluyeanime@hotmail.com HEEHEE ^__^
ok here it is at last:
so senslessly i was crying when you told me that you loved me
so softly i wanted to gaze at you
so terribly that pain was increasing
and even though you wiped away my senses so quickly
i knew what you were thinking
and as the wind blew my reflection aside
i knew that nothing mattered but you
as you dismisssed me so quickly
i knew what was happening
and despite the things you were saying so thoughtlessly
i still loved you
could you care enough to know what was going through my mind
at that moment you were there too
so recklessly i was wincing at the sound of my own heartbeat
so faint that it was not there
so deeply i wanted for you to feel me
and although you never really said those words meanfully
i like to believe in you
and while i was walking out the door
i knew i was going to return home so i could talk to you
i made it because you gave me strength to
you were the only one who knew what to do
at that timeless moment
when no one was around
i knew you were somewhere
and so ubruptly i told you the truth
so silently we sang to eachother in the night
so beautifully i couldnt tear my ears away
your meaningful voice ringing in my head
i couldnt escape your tight grip
and even though i am aware of your typicallity
you are so different
and although i want to say whats right
i cant bare to frieghten you
so senselessly i was crying when you told me you loved me
but so intensely i cried when you told me you didnt
so unaware i was walking toward you in my dreams
and you touched my hand so passionately
and although what was there was nothing
a simple gesture means everything
and although i hated to see you walk away
i still love you

ok hehheh you odnt have to translate it if you dont want to... >0<

I love you is "aishiteru".
It has a very strong meaning though, so if you want you can use suki (I like you) or daisuki ga (I like you a lot.)

Thank you for the answer to "I love you." I might use the ro-maji syllabary too.
I have found the ro-maji syllabary, but don't know if the translation of letters and sounds is literal. If you have time, could you please tell me what "I love you" would look like in ro-maji symbols?
Thanks again, I really appreciate getting this info. B

I'm learning my Japanese all over again after a three year hiats in America. The basics come as easy as pie.

It's the KANJI I may struggle with.

Then how about Korean. Similar grammar, similar culture, but using one of the easiest writing systems ever invented (no kanji!).

Hmmm ok gonna try this out, cuz I couldn't fid any good (well actually any, period.) Romaji-English transators, so ummm yeah. it's Romaji song lyrics I'd like to know what it is in english... I can take a guess at some of the parts, but yeah... anyway... sounds very 'adult' to me but I wanna know anyway.... I don't know if I'll rememebr to come back here and actually check for the result, but you can reply here anyway, or e-mail me at christina_snape@msn.com I'll definately get it that way. just have a subject title like Romaji translation, or your translation so I know it's not junk. anyway here it is, thank alot!
