Hi... I have no knowledge whatsoever of the Japanese language, and was wondering if anyone could help me out with this phrase:

Ai anata, David-sama.

Thanks so much in advance!

I'm not very good with Japanese either, so you may want confirmation on this, but I believe that ai means "love" and anata means "you/darling"... sama is a honorific suffix along the lines of master. So, according to my limited knowledge, the phrase would say:
I love you, master David

That shouldnt be too far off... hopefully...

I didn't mean to be rude...:-(

What I meant is that sticking -ai at the end of a name does not mean anything in Japanese.

Come to think of it, a yakuza (Japanese gangster) may have a tattoo that says "[Name of girlfriend] 愛", such as:

洋子 愛 (Yoko Love)
