I sent this message earlier but no1 has answer it yet...
Would really appreciate ur help!
I have some Q,My teacher said that there isn't the word "NO" in Japanese...She said that there words thats mean something like but there isn't a word that stands for "NO"...
Is that right?

You are asking a question that is tough to answer. The conventional translation for NO is いいえ (iie), which has contextual meaning that is different from NO in English. No in English is usually negation of a fact or existence of a fact. In Japanese, "iie" is actually denial of what had been said by the other person. It actually means "No, what you said is not true." Explaining this isn't easy, but I think you get the point. Also, remember that there are other ways of saying NO in Japanese.
