You'll have to explain how the words are to be used. There are many terms for them, and you can end up with something weird when nothing is explained. ;-) | ||

I have a school project and i am required to write out some of the famous places and things u can do/find at Kanagawa. I have found out some information from the web but i am having trouble translating those sentences into hiragana. Need help badly as the project is going to due tomorrow. Thanks a lot. Below are some of the sentence which i need help in. Enjoy the hot spring in the hot springs resort located at Yugawara Sight-seeing at the Mayuyama Park. Japanese Plum blossoms festivals is held in Feburary. Visit the Kanagawa Prefectural Museum of Culture History. Take a walk in the Iiyama-Kannon Temple. Look at the cherry vlossoms in April. On the last Sunday in July, there is a reglious waterfall festival at the Shasui falls One of the biggest Japanese boat festivals is held at the Kibune Shrine every July 27-28. Visit one of the biggest castle, Odawara Castle Take photo at the Yokohama Park Sight-seeing at Owakudani Valley. Mt Fuji and surrounding mountain ranges can be viewed from there. Sorry, initials cannot be translated into Japanese. AJ is AJ in Japanese, too. | ||

I am taking a karate class, and to pass one of the tests you need to know the following japanese words. migi, dan, kihom, ki, maai, kime, hindari, zanshin, kyu, aka, shiai, shiro, shokyu, kaimakiwara, bushido, mushin, ashi, jutsu, atemi, waza, bunkai, seiken, budo, jujutsu and a lot more. So basically I'm screwed. If anyone could help me out that would be GREAT! | ||

Sorry. 右・段・基本・気・間合い・決め・左（？）・斬新・級・赤・試合・白・初級・掻巻（か いまき）わら・武士道・無心・足・術・当て身・技・分解（？）・制拳（？）・武道・呪 術 The words are separated by dots. BEP: I like cheese and potatoes Watashi wa chiizu to poteto ga suki (desu). ワタシハ チーズトポテトガスキ（デス）。 Adding "desu" makes the sentence formal. | ||

I'm trying to learn japanese with the how to learn "japanese in 10 minuets a day" book but I am having trouble knowing how to say sentences because they seem to be mixed up when I write them in japanese so can anyone help me remember how to say where the (wa) and the (desu) (desu ka) go after you say something because they seem to be in different places depending on the begining of the sentence. :[ p.s. Hajimashite...Watashi wa doko desu ka...are these the right way to speak romanji? please help and thanks. | ||

There's no magic rule. It's like asking how to remember when to use would have/could have/should have. Just learn the simple structures first (I have a book), then gradually go into the more complexe ones (I could have had a book). | ||
