Hi,
My name is 林佩君 in Chinese. I would like to know how you would spell it out in Romanji. I only know the first one is Hayashi. Could anyone help me please?

P.S.
This is my first time on this board. What a great place!

Your family name is Lin. Your given name is either Hai-kun or Bai-kun. "Lin" is read Hayashi for Japanese citizens. As for your given name, you can choose either one that is closer to the correct pronunciation of your name in Chinese -- or whichever is to your personal taste.

The characters you have are read in "on-yomi", which is used only when used as common nouns and in sentences. Most Japanese names are read in "kun-yomi", which is closer to Chinese in pronunciation. Therefore, your name in Japanese is Lin Bai-kun or Lin Hai-kun and no other.

Note: I am a native Japanese speaker.
