Well, one would normally spell your name as カルリ (karuli).

But, if you altered it a bit to カリ (kali), then you could get several normal kanji names.

可里 - Something like "League that can"
華梨 - "Flowering Pear Tree"
華里 - "Flower Village"

So... yeah.

Austin written in Japanese is: オースティン

Foreign names do no have any meaning in Japanese, unless you make it up like Matjlav has done for Carly.

hi! im getting a tattoo shortly, i wanted it of my name, Jade, but also wanted it to mean something... apparently jade means alot of things in japanese, love, precious stone, dragon etc, can u tell me the most appropriate and meaningful one? it would be greatly appreciated, cos i've got a couple of versions already.
