Author Message   saiyanzzrage Posted on Saturday, May 08, 2004 - 02:51 pm:    Hi all, I have a quick question and I would appreciate any help I can get on the matter. If I have the symbol "chikara" and I want to add another symbol directly underneath it, so that it is aligned vertically, can they be combined to mean something else? Basically, I have the symbol chikara on my upper arm as a tattoo and I would like to add the symbol "kaku-go" which means determination directly underneath it, will the symbols combine to mean something totally different? In other words, I want them to be stand alone symbols that keep their original meanings (strength and determination respectively) but if I add kaku-go underneath chikara, does it form some sort of meaningless sentence, or is it read as they are, "strength" and "determination?" In otherwords, it means "and."
