also, what type of japanese is it, what does it directly translate to, and what does の actually mean cause I've seen it in a few of these translations.

Umm.. what type? Well, it's a mix of kanji and hiragana, you could say... 1st, 2nd, and 4th are kanji, third is hiragana. It directly translates to, well, eternal samurai. Or, more literally, "Samurai of eternity." And yes, I am sure. の can mean different things. In this case, it turns 不変 into an adjective, describing 侍.
