I made the mistake of using my limited knowledge of japanese on a forum (using my screen name Ryotetori-Tenchinage), and I got what I think is a joke in return, possibly a pun? - can you help translate ? thanks very much

FORAMU wa dajobu desu...ore-tachi wa sugoi desu! Kekeke!
>>
Dictionary wa sasuga desuyo, Ryotetori tenchinage. Omae wa Nihongo ga sugureta desuyo!
(Keke. Ore wa JYAPPONEEZU POONIIJYUU desu.)

Hi R-T,

My first impression of the Japanese you posted is that it was not written by a native Japanese speaker. It has errors that the Japanese will not commit (too obvious).

The forum is OK...We are great! LOL

I'm impressed by the dictionary, Ryotetori tenchinage. Your Japanese is excellent!
(LOL I'm Japanese ???.)

I can't figure out what POONIIJYUU is.

Ah, thanks very much! You are very kind! My attempts with a dictionary were completely futile.

I expected it to be something like colloquial, or common slang.

I thought that "POONIIJYUU" might be a slang japanification of "PUN" much like
"basubaru" for "baseball".

thanks again
R-T (lol)
