Greetings! It seems alot of people demand translations of English -> Kanji or Kanji -> English on these boards. (And some of them aren't very polite about the asking either. o_O;;)

I hate to add to the turmoil but I know just enough about the Japanese language that I'm fairly sure I'd butcher any attempts at accuracy on this term:

"lightwind" or "Wind of Light" (as in light from the sun)

I know that generally "kaze" is wind when connected to another term, but I don't know how to add "light" to it to make it a solid one-worded idea (like kamikaze = divine wind).

Thank you in advance for any help you can give me.

Light is literally 'hikari,' but as _part_ of a word, 'kou' would probably be preferable. Other forms of wind or 'kaze' include 'fuu' and 'hou,' which may work better as a one-worded idea.

'Hikari no Kaze' = 'Wind of Light'

'Koufuu' or 'Kouhou' could be used as equivalents for 'Lightwind' (I think Kouhou sounds cooler...)
