I am after a tattoo to go on this inside of my arm. I would like to know if anyone can help me with Japanese characters for Nicole, Nikki, and Tippy? Any help would be appreciated.

Nicole: ニコール
Nikki: ニーキ
Tippy: チーピ Note: there is no such pronunciation of "ti." They repance that with "chi" so in a way, "Tippy" is more like "Chippy."

Technically the "Ti" sound doesn't exist in Japanese, but there is a way to write it and most Japanese people should be able to pronounce properly

Tippy: ティッピー

Hi, could you show me the hiragana and kjanji writtings of "older brother" (passed away) and spirit and soul (whichever reflects a dead person) I want it as a tatoo on my shoulder in memory of my older brother died many years ago. Do you think it will bring a bad luck?

I don't know about Japanese culture, but either way, I don't think it will bring bad luck. I am not the least bit superstitious. In fact, on Friday the 13th, I like to go over to my friends house. Our ritual is that we set up his black cat in position to cross our path as we run under a ladder, and "accidentally" kick over a salt shaker on the way, then, as the grand finale, jump on a mirror.

So, I don't believe in bad luck. I love mocking the belief of it.

So, no, I don't think it will bring bad luck. But more to the point, here's your translation.

That 走い verb doesn't look right, are you sure you can conjugate it like that?

There is a link at the upper-right of this page called 'search engine', which will let you search this forum.

Oniisan can be used to refer to your own older brother, or somebody else's older brother, or an older (but not too old) man you respect, or a young man whose name you don't know,

Well, I didn't find any free download site for software, but here's something pretty nice.

It's pretty cool. Just enter the URL of a site that has JP characters on it and then hit "Go." It will make the characters into images for you, so you don't need a fontpack. One problem is it tries to translate (, ", ), and other stuff into images. Then you just get a little red "x." But it's not that bad. Now, try it out on my translations.

Pyromaniac - 放火狂
Dragon - 龍
Chaos - 混乱
I - 私
The - No real translation for that.

どういたしまして! You're welcome!
