Japanese often use '... ga dai suki' when expressing a strong liking for something.
So 'I love dogs' would be 'inu ga dai suki'. When talking about oneself, unlike in English where we must say 'I' the 'watashi wa' is often omitted as the listener knows you are talking about yourself.
