Author Message   Christopher Veilleux Posted on Tuesday, February 15, 2005 - 07:08 am:    I am looking for a word that means, “To fix by engineering.” I had heard the word used at work to describe a way to fix something because of the safety hazard. The current way we fixed it was to teach people how to use it properly. The word I think was something like “koke-bo” I don’t know the spelling, it also may be slang. This word meant to fix by engineering something that would only allow the person to operate the product the correct way. For example, you can tell someone to not to touch it, but you can also install a guard to prevent someone from touching it this would be an example of “The word which I am looking for”.
