I wonder how to use chan, kun and san after someone's name. What difference between them? What kind of person can I use these words with? Can you give examples in japanese?

-san is similar to Mr./Mrs. It can be used for anybody, but especially for superiors and people you don't know.

-chan is used when addressing children or friends. Children might also use this in place of san (chan originates as a young child's way of saying san), but as an older person, you should never use it for a superior or for a stranger.

-kun is a less formal version of san, and so is never used for superiors. Friends might call each other kun, and you might call a younger person kun. Girls don't call each other kun, though.

I'm not sure what kind of Japanese examples you would be looking for for this.
