Could someone please translate this song for me?
Ano umi dokomademo aokatta tokumade
Ano michi dokomademo tsuzuiteta massuguni
Ichiban hayaku sunaoni warattamono gachi
Ichiban sukina anohito waratteru
Dare yorimo toku e ittemo koko kara mata waratte kureru?
Hitomi wo tojireba futto natsu no nioi
Ano kawa asonderu futari kiri doro darake
Ano kumo otteiru todoitara shiawase to
Ichiban hayaku kono saka nobotta mono gachi
Ichiban sukina ano basho mezashite
Takusan no omoide ga aru hoka niha nani mo iranai kurai
Hitomi wo tojireba sugu ano umi no nioi
Mata natsu ga kuru giniro ni hikaru
Minamo ni utsusu futaribun no kage
Dare yorimo toku he ittemo kokokara mata waratte kureru?
Hitomi wo tojireba futto ano hi no aozora
I recently watched the AIR TV series, and absolutely love this song. I'd just like to know what is actually being said. Thanks to anyone who helps.

I say, this song is very good, specially with the "GOAL" scene, made me cry, really fits the scene T_T, well anyway
That ocean, blue as far as the eye can see
That road, leading straight on forever
The first person to laugh obediently wins
I'm laughing with that person I love most of all
Even if you travel farther than anyone else, will you laugh for me here again?
When I close my eyes, I catch a whiff of a summer day...
We are playing together in the river, getting muddy
We are chasing a cloud, and will be so happy when we reach it
The first person to the top of the hill wins
I'm reaching out for that place I love most of all
I have memories enough that I need nothing else
When I close my eyes, I can smell the sea...
Summer has come again, shining silver light
Casting our shadows on the surface of the water
Even if you travel farther than anyone else, will you laugh for me here again??
When I close my eyes, I catch a glimpse of the blue skies of that day...
it really fits the scene doesn't it? T_T

Yeah, it had the same effect on me. Still get misty-eyed whenever I hear it. Thanks so much.
