きをつけて = kiwotsukete
that should be 'take care' in hiragana.
きをつけてください = kiwotsukete kudasai
i think that is also 'take care'.

Btw babelfish is trash. Even I (non-japanese) know the translations are off.. >_<;

karasu, "ice wolf" can be either or. it all depends on who or what the namer decides it to be. see, if ice wolf was a common noun, it would make a difference, but since it is not, it doesn't matter.

Fruits Basket fan, eh? I can only do some right now because I'm sorta busy, but here's a few anyway.

Kyou: The kanji on its own doesn't really mean much of anything. It's just a fairly common Japanese name though it does portray a meaning such as "insert between". Or... it could mean "today".

Hatsuharu: The "Hatsu" part doesn't have much of an effect, only to lengthen the name. It's the "Haru" part which means "Spring".

Akito: "Aki" means "Autumn". "To" is just to signify the name.

Yuki: Snow.

Momiji: Maple.

Hitori: "Alone, by oneself," but don't you mean Hatori?

Jennifer: No such meaning in Japanese because "Jennifer" isn't a Japanese name.

Windows ME? I have the same thing. Anyways, go to the link I put below and on the drop-down options bar-thing, there will be two Japanese options. Just Japanese or with the "Language Pack." Those with a Language Pack include an appropriate unicode font. In the case of the Japanese IME with Language Pack the font is the MS Minchu. It is recommended that you download the "with Language Pack" version.

Are you writing this story in English? I hope you use a spellcheck, otherwise it will be very hard to read your text.

I guess a name like "jimen doragon" could convey the meaning of "earthbound dragon".

I'm not a JP native, so I'm not good with names... but if the mother/father is Japanese, why don't they know anything?

And as for "Hiro," what does it mean? It is only a name... and there are lots of variations.
