Dear Sir or Madam,
"Kuroro" (black man) means "professional" while "Shiroto" (white men) means "amateur".
It is because in ancient China, "black" was considered the color of "depth" like well while "white", the color of people (they wore white clothes). So the stronger person in "go" game took black stones and weaker, whites (this rule has been reverted later but the meaning of the words unchanged)
