Which is the correct way to write the word? And also, what does it exactly mean. I always thought it meant "angel", but a friend of mine said it meant "between heaven and earth"

"Tenchi" (天地) means "between heaven and earth" or just "heaven and earth," while "tenshi" (天使) means angel.
