Good question.
"Sorekkiri" is a deformation of "Sore.kiri" which means, "It is the last time (I've seen them or him)". In kanji characters, you can write "Sorekiri" as:
sorekiri

you mean it's from 其れ限り (sorekagiri) not それきり (sorekiri)
