I am writing an article for a United States magazine and need to know the approximate distance from the railway station in Fujiyoshido to the summit of Fujiyama.

Dear Hal Oth,
welcome to our Japanese forum.
The direct distance between Fujiyoshida city and the pick of Mt Fuji is 15km on the map but if you follow the tortuous road to reach the summit, the distance should be much longer.
