explanation: Born in 1901 in Fukushima prefecture. He engaged as mechanic in an aviation school then in a small movie firm. There, he contributed greatly to this emerging industry by inventing many equipment and techniques. During WWII, he was asked by the army to create war films by using special effects. For that reason, after the war, he had to temporary leave Toho and engaged in subcontractor projects. But it is Godzilla released by Toho in 1954 which brought him a fame. He died in 1970 by a hurt attack.
