Some of the names of people from other races are meaningful. Parents believe that the meaning of the names of their children can contribute to how the child will live and it can be related to his/her attitude. Anyway, I'm interested to know if Japanese names are also meaningful too. |

From what I've read, there are many beautiful and sentimental Japanese names for babies and children that have actual meaning. I am sure Japanese babies are named after relatives as is often the practice in many Western countries. Also, some Japanese names are ones which are the same for objects such as flowers or birds. This is also common in America and the UK. Conversely, I'm sure that some Japanese babies are named after popular culture icons such as music stars. |

Very insightful! I also think the same that parents give names to their babies based on things, people, idea and creatures that are remarkable and important to them. |

My own daughter was named after her grandmother (first name) and a beautiful Spanish name (middle name) meaning 'Garden'. Both names have very special meaning to us. |

Nice name. Children are special to their parents so names should have special meanings too. |
