I am trying to get a translation for "fighter." So far, I have narrowed it down to two: 戰士 戦士 Can anyone tell me what the difference in these two translations is? Thanks |

Hi, The first character is the old and official orthography while the second is a new simplified style. But be assured. contrary to the mainland China, Japanese have adopted few simplified characters, while Chinese orthography reform was so complete and systematic that it looks like well another language. Have a nice day. |
