Hey shounen and shoujo (boys and girls, or whatever--watashi wa baka. u_u;; lol)... My name is Brian; I am an 18-year old male American, and I live in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. My last name, however, is German--a far cry from Japanese--unfortunately. My Japanese name is Masatoshi, a self-appointed name. So, you may call me Masatoshi or "Masa" for short. I am also caucasian (white).
Anyway, I am hoping to go to college to learn nihongo (Japanese language) so I can speak read and write in Japanese. However, an online companion would please me.
I would like to just talk with or learn from someone. The Japanese language, music, and culture, as well as the famed anime (Japanese Animation), are my biggest interests. For starters, my favorite anime is InuYasha (dog-demon). For music, I like J-rock and J-pop. So, anyone into those things would be best for a pen-pal. Well, technically speaking, I would also like someone young to speak to--a teenager over 16 (I would prefer 17 or 18 more) or under 25 is preferrable. As I am a teenager, speaking to a peer would be the idea, right?
