explanation: One day, a school girl has unexpectedly scattered magical cards arranged inside a book which is found in the father's office. The manga, written by Clamp, tells the tale of this girl, Sakura Kinomoto, who strives to collect all the scattered cards, being helped by the guardian of this book, Keroberos. The publication of manga began in a monthly manga magazine, Nakayoshi, in May 1996 (June issue) while an animation series has been broadcasted by NHK since April 1998.
